I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
AFGE Local 1260 is poised for many positive changes for 2017, one of those changes, which in my opinion, is one of the most important: Communication. Sometimes, changes are not necessarily what we alter, but what we add . . . in this case, we are adding changes of more communication!
While there may have been many resolutions made during or just prior to the new year, some which may have already been broken, AFGE Local 1260 has also made some resolutions of which we will do our darnedest to keep: 1) Publish a Newsletter for our Members; 2) Keep our Social Media platforms updated; 3) Keep our Web site updated; 4) Keep our break room Communication Boards updated; and 5) Ensure that we, Local Leaders, are physically present for more face-to-face time with our members.
Believe it or not, some of these are tall tasks simply due to time constraints, however, as long as we are doing our best to accomplish these goals collectively, these goals should be reached relatively easily.
Again, Happy New Year to you all and be safe! Thank you for all you do!
